# A document won't upload

> Fix the most common upload errors.

## "One or more files could not be accepted"

Anchora accepts **PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC and DOCX** files up to **20 MB** each, and up to 10 files at a time.

* Exporting a scan as PDF usually fixes an unsupported format.
* If a file is too large, lower the scan resolution or compress the PDF, then try again.

## "Your session has expired"

You've been signed out. Refresh the page, sign in again, and upload the file again.

## "This document already has an upload"

Use **Replace** on that document instead. Your earlier file is kept as part of its history.

## "This changed while you were working"

The document was updated in another tab or on another device. Refresh the page to see the latest version, then try again.

## The upload stops partway

This usually means the connection dropped. Check your internet connection and try again. Files from unfinished uploads are cleaned up automatically, so you won't end up with a broken copy.
